Ways to use dehydrated lemon.

  • To flavor a simple hot tea.
  • Use as a garnish on cocktails
  • Add to water for flavor
  • Grind into powder and mix with herbs to add the citrus flavor to baked goods, soups, sauces, meats and veggies.

How to dehydrate lemon.

  • I used my Ninja Grill Air fryer/Dehydrator combo. You can use your own dehydrator equipment or use the oven to dehydrate lemon. I will include instructions for both.
  • Use a sharp knife to slice the lemon evenly at about 1/4″ so that it dehydrates the slices evenly and all at the same time.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lemons, thinly and evenly sliced into 1/4″ slices (approx 3mm). I used Meyers lemons.
  • Raw sugar. I used Trader Joe’s Raw cane sugar.
  • Cinnamon or Chinese Five Spice, if desired.

    1. Dehydrated lemons can last up to 6 months when stored in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. For even longer shelf life, keep them in the fridge or freezer, where they can last up to a year!
