Air Fryer Steak Bites are a delightful twist on a favorite classic, allowing you to indulge in tender morsels of beef that are bursting with flavor. I love how they turn out with an appetizing caramelized crust, yet with a juicy and tender interior, and made in under 10 minutes in the air fryer.
1poundRibeye Steakcut into bite-sized pieces. I used Ribeye. Sirloin or NY strip will work great too.
2TablespoonsOlive oilor avocado oil
1/2tspsalt and pepperto taste
1/2tspgarlic powder
Garlic Butter
3TablespoonsUnsalted buttermelted
3garlic clovesminced
1Tablespoonfresh parsleyfinely chopped
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 400F/200C for 3 minutes.Trim the excess fat off the steak and cut it into bite-size pieces. Approximately 1-inch cubes.In a large bowl, add steak cubes, oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder and mix everything until they're well coated.
Place the steak bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd them. Give them some space.
Airfry mode 400F/200C. Cook for 7-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even browning.
While the steak bites are cooking, melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic. Combine: Once the steak bites are done, toss them in the garlic butter sauce until they are well coated.Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately
To ensure even cooking, cut the steak into equal sizes
Marinate for extra flavor: While not necessary, marinating your steak bites for a few hours before cooking can infuse them with additional flavors. A simple marinade of soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and a touch of honey works wonders.
Do not overcrowd the basket and give each piece of steak some space so the hot air can fully circulate.
Rest the meat: Once your steak bites are cooked, allow them to rest for a few minutes before tossing them in the garlic butter. Resting helps the juices redistribute throughout the meat, ensuring each bite is tender and flavorful.
