Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for about 5 minutes.
Prepare the Burger Patties: In a large bowl, combine 1 pound of ground beef, 2-3 cloves of minced garlic, ½ small finely chopped onion, 2 tablespoons of fresh chopped parsley, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything together until well combined.
Form the Patties: Shape the mixture into 4 even burger patties, pressing a small indentation into the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up during cooking.
Air fry the Burgers: Place the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 8 minutes for medium-rare or 10 minutes for medium doneness, flipping the patties halfway through the cooking time. Cook the burgers to an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) for well-done or adjust to your preferred level of doneness.
Add Cheese: During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar or American cheese on each burger and let it melt.
Prepare the Buns and Toppings: While the burgers cook, toast your hamburger buns in the air fryer for 1–2 minutes if desired. Prepare your toppings—slice lettuce, tomatoes, and onions, and get your favorite condiments ready.
Assemble the Burgers: Once the burgers are cooked to your liking, remove them from the air fryer. Place each patty on a toasted bun and top with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and your favorite sauces like mayonnaise or chipotle sauce.
Serve and Enjoy: Serve the juicy, cheesy burgers immediately and enjoy a delicious, no-mess meal!
